How do I convert HD mkv’s to iPhone format with its hardcoded subtitles?

I have some anime in HD 720p MKV format that I would like to convert to iPhone format, however with all of the programs I have tried so far the hardcoded subtitles do not appear in the converted files. What program can do this properly? Thanks.

    I recommend you a easy to use MKV Converter which can convert MKV files to all various popular videos Such as AVI, MP4, WMV, H.264/AVC, WMV, Xvid, MP4, XviD and MOV.

    here is a way u can try, try a editing tool, for example sony vegas, import mkv to sony vegas and seperate the subtitles out, then import your converted file to sony vegas, add the subtile to your converted file. seems a little complex, but it works
